The first week always stretches us, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Thankful for coworkers who lift each other up and students who bring so much joy.

I just have to brag on one of our amazing first grade teachers, Missy Mann! The second graders I get to teach this year are shining because of the love, patience and hard work she poured into them last year. They came to confident, curious and ready to grow- and that's because of the strong foundation she built in first grade.

Kimberly Garcia Raxic saw a younger student who is just starting to learn English and went out of her way to help her feel welcome and supported. She even spoke with her in their home language and showed her how much she has learned since kindergarten. That’s what being a leader and an Eagle is all about—helping others believe in themselves and showing kindness!
