How It Works

Step 1: ADD VALUE TO YOUR ONLINE FUNDRAISERS
Link or embed your Memories eWall url link onto your online fundraising platform or digital newsletter – allowing Alumni to view the digital library of your campus’ Greatest Memories, submit their own Greatest Memory, make a donation to your school, or “Memory Tag” other alumni to participate!

(Pictures, video clips, short stories, lessons learned, words of appreciation)
Step 2: APPROVE
All submitted “Memories” go directly to the secured back-office ADMIN PANEL of your staff Moderator(s) who will choose if a “Memory” will become visible by clicking the provided APPROVE BUTTON.

(This guarantees that ONLY positive content of your standards will ever become visible.)

Step 3: DISPLAY
Your Memories eWall web page will customize all APPROVED content with your colors and logo and will place them into a Rotating Display on your Memories eWall web page. APPROVED videos will run vertically down the page much like a traditional social media feed.

(Note: This allows users to view AND submit “Memories” from this single page. The FULLSCREEN Button allows you to place your Rotating Display on facility TV Monitors, and the Social Media Share Buuttons allow users to share your Approved Memories to their social media platforms.)

Anonymous Notification Feature

Submit a positive message to your Kindness eWall about someone in your community. Use the Anonymous Notification Feature to have an anonymous email sent to that person letting them know that they were mentioned on your Kindness eWall!

All Anonymous email notifications include the link to your Kindness eWall with an invitation to participate!

Problem / Solution

Our granddaughter (pictured here watching David as he was creating/coding the “You Uplift” Kindness eWall a few years ago), started school this year.

After bringing home her first School Fundraiser ($25 pizzas), we eagerly wanted to support (though we didn’t need the pizza… and knew the Fundraising Co. would get much of the money).

We then received an online Fundraising invitation from a school Ball Team, and we eagerly wanted to support (though having kids ask for money without them offering anything in return felt “off-putting” for some reason).

We began wondering… is there an online Fundraiser that allows a School or Team to keep all of the money… but gives the potential Contributors something positive in return for their considered support?

As a result – David went back to coding, and created the “You Uplift” Kindness eWall Fundraising Platform, as it gives potential Contributors a live Rotating Display of your schools’ positive, uplifting content…. allows potential Contributors to submit positive, uplifting content… provides multiple push-button DONATE options for potential Contributors… and allows you to publicly recognize and “Thank” your Contributors for their support!

In addition, it gives you 100% push-button control over what content becomes visible, and all donations go directly to your account!

FAQs

What percentage of funds raised does our school get to keep?

Your School keeps 100% of all mail-in Donations. Your School also keeps 100% of all online Donations (minus credit card fees).

What percentage of funds raised does the GREATEST MEMORIES eWALL platform keep?

0%. In order to cover all costs of running the platform (server space, Tech Support, Customer Service, Help Desk, Updates, etc.), the GREATEST MEMORIES eWALL platform operates on your choice of a monthly or yearly subscription model. Regardless of how much money you raise, your subscription rate will never change, and you will keep ALL funds raised!

How does the GREATEST MEMORIES eWALL platform process our online Donations?

It doesn't. We simply attach your Donate link onto your GREATEST MEMORIES eWALL page, so that ALL Donations go directly to your account for your immediate access. We do NOT receive, touch, or transfer ANY of your funds at any time, and you keep 100% of all Donations made.

If we don't currently have an online account, can you create one for us with a DONATE button?

Absolutely! There are 2 ways that this can be done:

  1. IF YOU ARE COMFORTABLE SHARING YOUR BANKING INFORMATION WITH US: Then, we will set up your Program's online account for you with the processing company of your choice (PayPal, Stripe, GoFundMe, etc.)!
  2. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SHARE YOUR BANKING INFORMATION WITH US: Then, we can walk you through how to set up your Program's online account with the online processing company of your choice (PayPal, Stripe, GoFundMe, etc.). Set-up generally takes about 5 to 10 minutes!

How do participants submit a "Memory" to be considered for our Rotating Display?

The bottom half of your GREATEST MEMORIES eWALL link has a Submission Form that allows users to submit a "Memory" with the click of a button. (This allows participants to both view all of your "Memories" and submit their own "Memory" to your GREATEST MEMORIES eWALL page.)

How do we APPROVE submitted "Memories" in order to make them visible in our display?

All submitted "Memories" will go directly to your Moderator's email inbox for APPROVAL. If they want the "Memory" to become visible for everyone to see, then they simply click the provided APPROVE Button.
(This guarantees that ONLY POSITIVE "Memories" of your school's standards will ever become visible in your Rotating Display!)

Can we remove or edit a submitted "Memory" once it is displayed?

Yes. You will have a back-office ADMIN PANEL that will allow you to delete or edit "Memories" (individually or in bulk) and will allow you to change the colors, title, logo, and font size of your GREATEST MEMORIES eWALL page at any time!

Can this Fundraising Platform be used in environments other than Athletics?

Absolutely! Great memories, obviously, happen in every environment (Greatest School Memories, Greatest Camp Memories, Greatest Kindness Memories)... the possibilities are endless! The GREATEST MEMORIES eWALL Page can be set to match your Fundraising environment!

Yes! There are no Sign-Ups and no Log-Ins required in order to participate, as we collect no data or information of any kind. The platform is currently being used by large and small school systems throughout the country in almost all 50 states, and it has passed 100% of all school privacy regulations to date.
Yes! You can have all messages sent to as many faculty email inboxes as you’d like for Approval, and we can change or add to this list at any time.
Yes! Many of our schools do this, because if your students take to it – then the messages can begin to overflow your school email inbox at times. Not only will a separate gmail account prevent this from happening, but you can also make it accessible to all faculty members if you choose to.
You can choose one of three ways to display your messages onto a facility TV monitor.
  1. HDMI CORD – Some schools will access their Kindness eWall on a laptop and run an HDMI cord to their TV monitor.
  2. CAST – Some schools will access their Kindness eWall via a tablet or device and will cast it to their TV monitor via a Chromecast or Apple TV device.
  3. SMART TV WITH INTERNET BROWSER – If your Smart TV has an Internet Browser (Samsungs), then you can place your Kindness eWall link in the browser and it will run from there.
Yes! You can edit the text of any message before Approving it. In addition, if you’d like to keep a message but would like to remove an included image… or if you’d like to keep an image and remove the text, then you can do this before Approving the message. Your Rotating Display will only display exactly what you choose to make visible.

Upon your request, we can replace your current Anonymous Submission Form with a Form from your school’s email system (ex. Google Form). This feature places Social Media Share Buttons on your entire Kindness e-Wall webpage or just on your Rotating Display only – whichever you prefer.

In it’s default setting, your school’s Kindness eWall uses an Anonymous Submission Form in order to comply with all school privacy regulations. Therefore, though you will be able to APPROVE all submitted content before it becomes visible, you will not know who the author of the message is.

HOWEVER, upon your request, we can include a SUBMISSION FORM LOGIN which would require users to enter their email / password in order to submit a message. This would allow you to APPROVE all submitted content before it becomes visible and will also provide you with the email address of each message’s author (whether you Approve it or not).
